Terms of sale
Nothing is on sale here yet. The book and the toolkit are still being finished, so the terms below describe how buying will work when the shop opens rather than anything you can do today. The only thing this site currently collects is an email address, if you choose to give one — see the privacy notice.
1. Who you're buying from
This website is operated by Nigel Ferry, trading as Irish Wealth Roadmap, Ireland. You can contact us at hello@irishwealthroadmap.ie. Our business registration and VAT position will be shown here from the day anything goes on sale.
By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
2. What we sell
- Digital products — eBooks, PDF guides and spreadsheet templates, delivered by download.
- Physical products — the printed paperback, posted to you.
- Services — workshops and talks, arranged separately by agreement.
Product descriptions tell you what is included. Screenshots and illustrations are indicative; page counts and contents may be revised as material is updated.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in euro and include Irish VAT where it applies. Postage is shown separately at checkout for physical items. Payment is taken by our payment processor — we never see or store your card details.
We may change prices at any time, but the price shown at the moment you complete checkout is the price you pay.
4. Delivery
Digital products. You'll get a download link on screen immediately after payment and a copy by email. Download links may expire after a set period — if yours has, email us and we'll reissue it. It is your responsibility to give a working email address at checkout.
Paperback. Orders are normally posted within 2 working days. Delivery times after that are in the hands of An Post or the courier. Risk passes to you on delivery.
5. Refunds and your right to cancel
Digital downloads
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you lose that 14-day right once the download begins. If you tick that box and download the file, the statutory cooling-off right no longer applies.
That said, we would rather you were happy than technically correct: if a download isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days of purchase and tell us why, and we'll refund you. We may decline where there is evidence of abuse — for example repeated buy-and-refund, or redistribution of the files.
Paperback
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel, and a further 14 days to return the book. It must be in resaleable condition. Return postage is at your cost unless the book arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover it and replace or refund in full.
Faulty or wrong items
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law. If something is faulty, damaged, incomplete or not as described, contact us and we'll put it right.
Workshops
Cancellation terms for booked workshops are set out in the booking confirmation for that event.
6. What you may do with the files
When you buy a digital product you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. You may:
- Use it yourself and within your own household
- Print copies for your own use
- Keep it indefinitely, including any updated versions we issue
You may not:
- Share, resell, sublicense, upload or distribute the files, in whole or in part
- Use them commercially, in paid teaching or coaching, or across an organisation, without a workplace licence
- Remove copyright notices, or reproduce substantial parts in your own material
Need to share it with a team, a staff group or a membership? That's what the workplace licence is for — just ask. We price it fairly.
All content, text, design and files remain the intellectual property of Nigel Ferry, trading as Irish Wealth Roadmap.
7. Financial disclaimer — please read
Everything we publish is general educational information about how money, tax, pensions and investments work in Ireland. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a personal recommendation.
We are not authorised or regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, and we do not provide regulated financial services, arrange or advise on financial products, or receive commission from any provider.
Our material cannot take account of your circumstances, goals or risk tolerance. Before acting on anything you read here, you should take advice from a professional authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland, and from a qualified tax advisor for anything tax-related.
The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a guide to future performance. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change in future.
Tax rates, thresholds, reliefs and scheme rules change — often at Budget time. Every figure we publish is dated. Always confirm current figures with Revenue, the Department of Social Protection, the Pensions Authority or your provider before you act.
8. Liability
We put real care into accuracy, but we do not warrant that the material is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for any decision you make on the basis of it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of savings, or investment losses.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights as a consumer.
9. Third-party links
We link to Revenue, the Central Bank, the Pensions Authority, the CCPC and similar bodies for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content of any external site, and a link is not an endorsement.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page.
11. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, email us first — we'd rather sort it directly. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, or use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
12. Contact
